Harold J. Logan
Director
Hal is Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning for Manheim, the nation's largest automobile remarketing company. He is responsible for the development and execution of Manheim's strategy for growth outside its core auction business. Before taking his current position, Hal was President & CEO of Manheim Interactive Inc., Manheim's technology subsidiary. Hal has also served as Senior Vice President of Marketing for Manheim.
Prior to joining Manheim, Hal managed Third Set Partners, a consulting company, for three years. Hal began his career as a reporter with the Washington Post in 1973. In 1984, he joined Dow Jones where he helped launch their successful online ventures. In 1988, he joined Pacific Bell Directory, where he served for several years in various executive level positions. In 1996, he became chief executive officer of Vicinity Corporation, an Internet company that provides Yellow Pages, mapping and driving direction services.
Hal holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Harvard University, and a Master's of Business Administration degree from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business. |
