GET ON the A List Get on the A List is a collaboration between the W.E.B. Du Bois Society and the A Team Morning Show aimed at recognizing African American student achievement in math and science and highlighting the hard work, dedication, and discipline necessary to improve academic performance. Four times a year, teachers nominate students who have improved at least one half to one full letter grade in math or science. Students receive on-air recognition, recognition on the W.E.B. Du Bois Society and A Team websites, and school and district wide recognition for their effort. The top 10 students with the largest increases in performance receive an opportunity to win tickets to concerts and more. |
